One of the most important preventative care measures you can take is to provide good dental care. Even with the best care, a time may arise when your pet needs dental “intervention. Our fully equipped dental suite (separate from surgery) provides for routine dental prophies as well as advanced dental procedures. Drs. Shari and Rick Lyons completed a six session course on basic and advanced dental procedures in 2006 and can provide for most of your pet's dental needs. The high speed equipment makes extractions quicker and digital x-rays allow us to see pathology we cannot detect above the gum line. Surgical training in oral surgery and gingival flap placement allows a quicker and more comfortable recovery from dental procedures. We even have the ability to do root canals!

Even with these advancements, our clinic focus remains on preventative care, so our nursing staff is all well versed on dental disease prevention techniques. Ask them what you can do for your pet!
