Referral Options

At Zionsville Country Veterinary Clinic, we are in a unique position of both experience and interest. Doctors Rick and Shari Lyons each have more than 25 years of clinical experience. In the case of Dr. Rick, that includes not only general practice, but emergency, surgical, and specialty practice. Yet there are still times when your pet's care should include the expertise of a specialist.

We have close working relationships with the doctors at Purdue University as well as the local specialty practice, VCA-VSA and the Animal Dermatology Clinic. Specialists are available ranging from neurology to dermatology to surgery. To make arrangements for referral, your primary care doctor will contact the specialist to facilitate your appointment. If you have any questions about referral options, please don't hesitate to discuss it with your veterinarian.
